The Planning Commission for Mohave County has approved a permit for the construction of a new cell tower north of Bullhead City, located in the Mohave Valley. The aim is to improve wireless coverage to residents who currently have little to no mobile reception. According to Mohave Valley Daily News, “The commissioners approved a building permit for a 100-foot wireless communication tower off Katherine Mine Road near Katherine Heights. The property is zoned multiple residential. An upcoming meeting by the District 2 Board of Adjustment will address setbacks.”

If the cell tower proposal receives final approval, the property owners must seek proper representation to assist them throughout the lease negotiation process. Vertical Consultants has worked with all types of landowners who are being paid below-market value for the use of their property. The primary reason for this is the lack of information and representation provided for these entities. Ample information and representation from a true landowner advocate are key factors these industries need in order to optimize the use of their properties by the telecom and tower giants alike.
