A church in Eugene, Oregon has received a proposal from a large telecom company to house a new cell tower. A 75-foot Tower, disguised as a monopine, would be erected on church property. According to Lead Pastor Aaron Taylor, “The area, including the church, has poor wireless service and the tower would be a big help. The church would get rent of ‘several hundred dollars’ a month from ATT. If we do it, we want to make sure it’s going to be a stealth-type look that isn’t going to hurt the environment of the neighborhood.”
