A 200-foot tower in Pensacola, Florida underwent equipment upgrades recently. The entire Gulf Coast will be receiving tower upgrades in order to keep up with the demanding data and voice services offered by large telecom companies. According to the Pensacola News Journal regarding the cell tower project, “The crew is working in the local area upgrading equipment for a local provider to help improve cell phone and data services along the Gulf Coast.” If this upgrade has garnered any additional revenue for the tenant, then the property owner should be entitled to a fair share in such increase.
