An application to construct a 140-foot monopole cell tower in Marlboro, Vermont has ben approved by the Vermont Public Service Board. This cell tower is a necessity to many residents in the area who will now receive improved wireless service, including 4G Technology. According to Brattleboro Reformer, “The cell tower is a crucial link in VTel’s push to deliver 4G technology to almost 2,000 households in Whitingham, Dover and Halifax. This will provide wireless broadband, mobile broadband and mobile voice. It’s critical for our communications network.”
The landowner must seek proper representation to assist him/ her throughout the lease negotiation process. Vertical Consultants has worked with all types of landowners who are being paid below-market value for the use of their property. The primary reason for this is the lack of information and representation provided for these entities. Ample information and representation from a true landowner advocate are key factors these industries need in order to optimize the use of their properties by the tower and telecom giants.
