AT&T has proposed another cell tower for the Town of Newfane, Vermont, even as it continues development of a recently approved tower site in the same area. The first proposal was not an easy process, as many residents opposed the plan; however, the telecom company is ready to try a second time, in order to enhance wireless services in the area. According to a representative from AT&T, โThe proposed tower would interconnect with the pending Oak Hill Road tower and an existing Putney site, resulting in significant service-quality improvements and benefiting residential and business customers living, working and commuting to and from Newfane as well as tourists who visit the area.”
The Vermont Public Service Board will issue final approval for the tower. If passed, it is important that the property owner seeks proper representation to assist them throughout the lease negotiation process.
