Verizon’s proposal for a 300-foot cell tower to be constructed in Flintstone, Maryland has been given the go-ahead by the FAA. The consumers of the area will now have much improved wireless coverage, and the tower will be sufficient for multiple mobile carriers. According to a representative from the tower company in charge of constructing the tower, “His company is planning to build the tower for Verizon, the carrier. Tower Access builds communication facilities and by often having multiple carriers located on the same tower, the proliferation of towers can be limited.”
