After 2 years going through the approval process, the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harding, New Jersey, will soon welcome a 150-foot cell tower to its property. The cell tower application was finally approved, but with certain conditions attached, such as power supply and lighting restrictions, as well as tower appearance and space allotment for future co-locators. According to the Observer-Tribune, “The application was the subject of a very detailed presentation by the applicants, important substantive comments by many affected residents and interested members of the public, and an ongoing comprehensive and thoughtful discussion among the board members regarding not only the technical details of the application but the broader context of how we see and want to see our township.”

While it is a blessing for a non-profit organization to receive an added source of income, it is still very important to know what the true value of the lease and use of the church’s property is to the telecom or tower company. Vertical Consultants can assist your church in exploring all options available to maximize the full value of your property. We have worked with non-profit organizations throughout North America. We will be glad to share in more detail what services we can provide and always offer a free initial review.
